Crown Workforce Management is proud to mark this year’s National Work Life Week, the annual campaign from Working Families that highlights the importance of wellbeing at work and supporting employees with caring responsibilities.
The 2025 theme, Flex for All, recognises that flexibility isn’t just a ‘nice to have’, it’s essential. From dads to unpaid carers, adoptive parents, kinship carers and those supporting older family members, the campaign calls on employers to embed flexible working as a standard approach.
At Crown, flexibility and family-friendly ways of working are at the heart of our culture. Our policies support our people in balancing work and life, while our software helps organisations across the UK give their own teams the same opportunity. By enabling employers to manage complex shift patterns, time & attendance and compliance requirements, Crown’s technology helps create healthier, more sustainable working environments where employees can thrive.
Mike Hawkesford, Managing Director at Crown Workforce Management said:
“At Crown, we believe flexibility is about more than policy, it’s about creating a culture and the tools to make it possible. We’re proud to support our own people through family-friendly practices, and equally proud that our software enables organisations in every sector to give their employees more choice, fairness and balance in the way they work.”
Jane van Zyl, CEO at Working Families, said:
“We’re delighted to see Crown Workforce Management taking the opportunity during this year’s National Work Life Week to show how committed they are to doing things differently. National Work Life Week is a great opportunity to shout about the benefits of flexible working and come out in praise of the immense value parents and carers add to the workplace. We’re so glad Crown Workforce Management are part of Working Families’ journey to help employers create environments where working parents and carers can thrive.”
National Work Life Week is run by Working Families, the UK’s national charity for working parents and carers. The campaign, held annually in October, provides an opportunity for employers to showcase how they support employees with caring responsibilities and implement healthy, sustainable working practices.
