A Midlands-based provider of workforce management software has made a string of new appointments to meet rising demand.
Crown Workforce Management, which is based on Tamworth Business Park, has filled four newly-created roles to support a rise in custom from businesses looking to migrate away from physical on-site servers to cloud-based operations for storing HR data.
Lewis Tate joined the firm last month as a Technical Support Team Lead and Cloud Systems Administrator with more than a decade of IT experience in the public and private sector, where he will be helping to oversee cloud-based projects.
His appointment follows that of Rebecca D’Agostino as Head of Marketing, who joins the firm with more than 15 years of marketing experience within the software technology and legal sectors.
Nikki West has also been appointed as Functional Support Consultant, and Chris Williams as Technical Support Junior Consultant.
It takes Crown Workforce Management’s total headcount to around 70 staff, with an annual turnover of £6 million, as the business looks to build upon the 40 per cent year-on-year increase in demand for cloud-based services over the past 12 months.
It counts 16 UK police forces amongst its 200-strong client base, and also works with a variety of private sector businesses.
Mike Hawkesford, managing director at Crown Workforce Management, said: “Business demand for the cloud has been fuelled by remote working and a greater understanding of its security benefits, and looks set to be an area of long-term growth for us.
“That’s why it is vital that we invest in additional talent now to complement our existing workforce so that we can capitalise on a rise in custom, and invest in new services and products to stay ahead of the industry curve.
“I’m delighted to welcome Lewis, Rebecca, Nikki and Chris, and look forward to working with them and the wider team at what is an exciting time to expand the business further.”
